What’s your skincare regimen? Good skin regimen shouldn’t be complicated. Having a good skin care is a lifestyle. Its an investment that requires time and commitment. Let’s keep it simple with this 3 simple steps.

1.) Washing
Washing your face every night before going to bed is a must. Look for a face wash that is suitable for your skin type to keep blemishes away.  
Types of Cleansers:
  • Cleansing Milk are suitable for sensitive skin. It can also be use as a make up remover. It doesn’t lather and very moisturizing. Can be use directly on the face, emulsify and just rinse it with warm water.
  • Cleansing Gel for normal to combination skin. Its a gentle formula that lathers without stripping natural moisturize of the skin.
  • Foaming Cleanser for all skin types, preferably for combination to oily skin. It is very foamy that provides a luxurious feel and deep cleansing. 
2.) Toning
Toning the skin removes any residue from make up and dirt left from washing. It prepares the skin to absorb appropriate care. Not only it refreshes the skin it also restores pH balance of the skin.
  • Lotion: for removing excess oils, dirt and make up residue from cleansing. It soothes the skin and prepare it for the next steps. 
  • Astringent Tonic: an alcohol based solution or an acid that contains active ingredients for depigmentation and skin brightening or a treatment solution for acne prone skin.
3.) Moisturizing 
The second most important part in skin care routine. Moisturizing increases skin hydration leaving the skin with a barrier to protect from water evaporation. 
  • Water-based Moisturizer: comes in a gel form suitable for oily and acne prone skin. 
  • Cream-based moisturizer preferable choice for normal and dry skin. It's very occlusive and often comes in a richer consistency.
Now that you have your basics, you should be able to maintain the integrity of your skin. Your skin will benefit and thank you in a long time.
